Condition of damage

Rim cut and injury

Causes

1. Faulty (deformed, rusted, etc.) rims or wrong size of rims
2. Careless mounting/dismounting (omission of lubricant such as soapy water on bead, mishandling of tire changer or tire levels, etc.)
3. Incomplete mounting of tires on rims
4. Underinflation and/or overload
5. Sudden or excessive braking and acceleration, and/or high speed cornering
6. Overheating of brake drum

Recommendations

Stop to use the damaged tire
